Terms of Service

Last updated: October 8, 2026 · Русская версия

In shortWhorl is a free messenger. Communicate as you like, but don't break the law, don't spam and don't harm others. We may restrict or ban accounts that break these rules.

These terms govern your use of the Whorl messenger (the website and app at whorl.wtf). By creating an account or using Whorl you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Whorl.

1. Your account

2. What is not allowed

3. Moderation

Any message, user, group or channel can be reported. Moderators review reports and may remove content, temporarily restrict messaging, freeze a group or channel, or ban an account temporarily or permanently; the reason and duration are shown at sign-in. If you believe a decision is wrong, write to support@whorl.wtf. Owners and admins of groups and channels moderate their members and are responsible for what is published there.

4. Your content

Everything you send remains yours. You give Whorl the right to store, process and deliver this content to its recipients only as far as needed to run the messenger. You are responsible for what you post and confirm you have the right to post it.

5. Service "as is"

Whorl is provided free of charge and "as is". We work to keep it stable (current status at status.whorl.wtf) and make regular backups, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or the preservation of every message. Do not use Whorl as the only place to keep important files. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service.

6. Changes

We may change Whorl's features and these terms. The date of the current version is shown at the top; we announce significant changes through the official @whorl account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Privacy.
