What Whorl is for

Whorl lets people message each other: one-to-one chats with friends and family, group chats for teams and communities of up to 200 people, and channels to publish posts to subscribers. It is free, has no ads and does not sell your data. Anyone can use Whorl at whorl.wtf after creating an account.

Signing in with Google

You can create a Whorl account with your email and a password, or with your Google account. Whorl uses Google Sign-In only for authentication: it requests the basic openid, email and profile scopes and receives your name, email address and profile photo. We use them only to create your account, sign you in and fill in your profile. Whorl does not access your Gmail, contacts, Drive or any other Google data, does not post on your behalf, and does not use Google user data for advertising or to train AI models.
